A very nice review, characteristic of Larry Blum in its thoroughness and gentle but telling criticism. It says eloquently some of the things I have long thought about care ethics.
Hm. The above comment was meant for the previous post. Don't know how that happened. Regarding this one, the (unnamed) author seems a bit unidimensional in her reading of Plato, but the suggestion in the penultimate paragraph about the applicability of the Republic's critique of art applied to mass media is suggestive.
